PRODUCT INFO & DETAILS GOURD'S CAPACITY : Between 120 - 150ml. It will take 25 / 35 grams of loose yerba mate (2/3 rule). Perfect for personal use.
Optimal Yerba Mate Preparation:
For the best yerba mate experience, fill your gourd to 3/4 of its capacity with loose yerba mate. This ensures a creamy infusion with an optimal balance between the amount of water poured and the yerba mate. Avoid common mistakes: using too much yerba leaves no room for water, while too little makes the brew watery and allows the yerba to "float" inside the gourd. Your brewing should look creamy as this: Also, remember to leave a slight slope and insert the bombilla at the bottom of the slope. Once the bombilla is in place, you are ready to carefully pour the water (remember not to let your water boil) for each serving.
